Croagh/Kilfinny GAA will be hosting a one‑day First Aid & Defibrillator training course on Saturday, 11th April, delivered by Hayes First Aid Training.
This course combines two fully certified courses into one day and is suitable for anyone wanting to get the basics of first aid and defibrillator usage. As we have two defibrillators in Croagh and one in Kilfinny it is vital we have people trained to use these critical life saving devices. Defibrillators are very common these days and having the knowledge and confidence to use them when the need arises is extremely important and saves lives as we learned last year when our defibrillator in the village was used and saved a persons life.

Both of these courses are normally run separately, each taking one full day and costing €120 per person (a total of €240) but Hayes First Aid have worked with Croagh/Kilfinny GAA to combine both courses into a single day, running from 9:00am to 4:00pm, costing €120 making it far more convenient and cost‑effective for our members and parishioners.
