The Club would like to extend our heartfelt sympathies to the Piggott family on the sad passing of Michael Piggott Snr. R.I.P.

The Piggott family have been great supporters of the club down through the years with Michael Jnr., Donal and Dermot past players of the club. When Croagh/Kilfinny GAA club had no permanent home the Piggott family kindly lent their front field for training and matches for many years. It was a gathering place for Croagh/Kilfinny gaels and many a match was held there (some never finished, I believe!) and this kept the club going when times were tough and finding places to train and play matches was difficult. We thank the Piggott family for their support.

Michael passed away peacefully on Thursday January 15th and will be greatly missed by his loving family, daughters Martina, Siobhan and Colette, sons Michael, Donal and Dermot and their extended families.

Michael will repose in St. John the Baptist Church, Croagh, this Saturday evening January 17th from 6pm to 7pm. Requiem Mass on Sunday at 11am. Burial afterwards in the local cemetery.
