The Club would like to extend our heartfelt sympathies to our Vice President Noel Hannan and his family on the sad passing of his wife June R.I.P.

June passed away peacefully at Milford Care Centre on the Sunday 9th of November 2025. As a former principal of Kilfinny National School June was actively involved in the promotion of Gaelic Games in the school. She ensured that there was always a hurling, camogie and football team participating in the Cumann na mBunscol competitions and many players in those teams went on to continue through the grades to become adult players at club level, a testimony to her dedication and commitment to Gaelic Games.

Our condolences to her husband Noel, her sons and former club players Paddy, Noel and Colm and to her daughters Justine and Darina and the extended Hannan families on their sad loss. Sympathy also to Markus and Elise on the passing of their Granny.

June will repose at St Kieran’s Church, Kilfinny (V94 WF54) this Tuesday November 11th from 5pm to 8pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11am with burial afterwards at Ballinakill Cemetery.
