Our under 11 hurlers had a great day out yesterday in Caherdavin after being invited to their annual blitz which is held in honour of a former young player who tragically passed away.
They won their first 3 games against Bishopstown, Na Piarsaigh 2 and St. Patricks.
They fought with everything they had in the final and were unlucky to lose out to a very strong St. Patricks side.
The event could not have been better managed by Peter Sheehan and all in Na Piarsaigh.
All children and parents were very generously looked after with food and drink laid on for all.
It was a fantastic experience for our lads with it being their first experience of a tournament with a trophy to play for.
They went home with their heads held high with runners up medals.
Thanks to all players, parents, coaches and to all in Na Piarsaigh for a most enjoyable day out.
