The Club extends our deepest sympathies to the Shiels and Scannell families on the sad passing of Joan Shiels of Old Court, Croagh. Joan was a loyal supporter of Croagh/Kilfinny GAA club through the years and barely ever missed a game at underage or adult level. Even through her illness she still made it to games in her wheelchair, no matter what the weather was.

Joan was grandmother to current club players Jack and Tadhg and spent many hours on the sideline shouting them on. The blue and white flags were often flying in Old Court and on Joan and Pat's car signifying their passion for all things GAA and parish related.

A GAA Guard of Honour will take place prior to Requim mass at 12:30pm tomorrow Tuesday November 28th in Croagh village. Please meet outside the GAA Hall in the village at 12 noon.

Our sincere sympathies to Joan's husband Pat, daughter Eleanor, sons John, Podge and Niall and the extended Shiels and Scannell families.
