27th August 2021, Croagh/Kilfinny GAA Grounds.

On a bright sunny Friday evening our U9 hurlers took on NCW in Croagh/Kilfinny GAA grounds in a challenge game. We had 15 players in attendance so we fielded 2 teams and they played 4 x 10 minute games against NCW who had a large attendance of 30 players.

The boys showed some great determination and team play and held their positions on the field very well. There was some excellent ground striking, blocking and striking out of the hand as well as some great team scores.

We had one or two injuries so I hope those injuries are healing up well.

Well done to Leighton Hartnett, Cian O'Kelly, Aidan Purcell, Tadhg Hannon, Harry Frawley, Charlie Sheehy, Daithi O'Riordan, Dara Lenihan, Daniel O'Connor, Jack Alfred, Daniel Kelleher, Aidan Walsh, Hugh Hanley, Tadhg McCarthy and Sean Kennedy.

Well done to all the boys, the team mentors Paul McCarthy, John Walsh and Tomás O'Connor and to the parents for cheering the boys on from outside the pitch.
