Yesterday was a day for the history books as the boys in green, wrote another chapter of a golden era for Limerick hurling.

We would like to sincerely thank their Captain Declan Hannon, John Kiely and all their players and backroom staff for the joy they are bringing us all.

Declan's Dad was a fine hurler for Croagh/Kilfinny at all levels and was an officer of the club for many years.

The Hannon family has a long history with Croagh/Kilfinny hurling, with Declan's cousin Joe Junior currently jointly managing our Intermediate team.

We would like to congratulate Declan, his Dad Joe and all the Hannon family for what was no doubt another very proud day for all the family.
