We had a great turn pout at the West U8 hurling blitz in Mick Neville Park Rathkeale on Friday evening 19th July 2019. We played Monagea in out first match and the the boy played very well beating Monagea comfortable. In out 2nd game we played Tournafulla and in a tight game we edge them out by a last minute goal. In our final game we played Askeaton and in a tough game we again came out on top. 3

3 wins from 3 match and a great evening work by the boys and an enjoyable evenings entertainment for the parents. Well done to the U8 team as follows: Conor Geary, Charlie Sheehy, Eoghan Callinan, Tadgh Hannon, Michael Giltenane, Ciaran Kennedy and Oisin Degnan.
