The club would like to extend our sympathy to our President Liam Lenihan and his family on the sad passing of Fr. Michael. Fr Michael passed away peacefully on January 19th 2025, in Padua Place, San Antonio, Mexico.
We have fond memories of Fr. Michael's visits to Croagh on his holidays, where he would celebrate mass in Croagh and Kilfinny churches. He was never short for a word or two and was always fast with a quick witted answer!.
Funeral to be held in San Antonio Texas and a celebration of Fr Michael's life will be held in St. John the Baptist Church Croagh on Friday January 31st at 7.30pm.
