The club extends our deepest sympathies to the family of Mossie Collins, who sadly passed away on Friday last. Mossie was an outstanding supporter of the club, both on and off the field, and rarely if ever missed a club game. He played half-back on the team that won the 1970 West Junior B title and is pictured above, fourth from right in the back row, with members of this team. In recent years, he held the position of Club Vice-President, indicative of the high esteem in which he was held within the club. He will be sadly missed by all of us. His remains will repose at St. John the Baptist Church, Croagh on next Wednesday 14 December between 4 and 7pm. Requiem Mass takes place on Thursday at 12 noon, with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.
