Congratulations to our U15 hurlers of Croagh/Kilfinny/Rathkeale who won the Mr. Binman Division 3 Shield Final today in Mick Neville Park, Rathkeale on a score line of Croagh/Kilfinny/Rathkeale 2-17 Caherline 2-08.

While the score line suggests a comprehensive win the lads had to work really hard for their victory. We played some excellent hurling in the first half with some great individual scores as well as some great passing, team scores and very accurate free taking.

We went in at half time up 6 points, 1-10 to 2-01. Caherline came back into the game in the first 10 minutes of the 2nd half and had the lead down to 4 points but our lads battled hard for every ball and we got scores at vital stages to keep Caherline at bay.

Well done to the Team and Coaches, great to see these lads being rewarded for all their hard work during the year.
