28th August 2020, Pallaskenry.

On Friday evening our U8 hurlers played their 2nd challenge match of the year against Kildimo/Pallaskenry in Pallaskenry. What started out with a torrential downpour ended up in brilliant sunshine and a greats evening hurling by the boys. We had a great turn out with 14 players so we divided them into 2 teams to play 2 matches at the same time.

Both teams won 2 out of their 3 games and practiced the skills they are learning at training, especially about keeping their positions on the field.

Thanks to the parents that showed up to support the boys (only 1 parent allowed entry due to COVID-19 restrictions and to the coaches Paul McCarthy, John Walsh and Tomás O'Connor. Well done everyone.
