12th September 2019
Today we remember a good friend and loyal member of Croagh/Kilfinny GAA club, Paul Kenny R.I.P. Paul passed to his eternal reward in the early hours of this Thursday morning 12th September 2019.
Paul was a very valued and important member of Croagh/Kilfinny GAA club, most people will remember Paul as taking huge pride in his maintenance role at the GAA grounds for many years. Paul never needed to be asked to do anything as he was always on top of jobs, he regularly would come and say I fixed this, I fixed that and most people would not know those things needed to be done. He looked after the heating in the Complex, regularly servicing the boiler, cutting both fields, maintenance of dressing rooms and organising parking on match days. If there was anything ever to be done Paul was always there to help. He also spent many years fund raising for the club and was a promoter of the Limerick GAA Development draw bringing much needed funds into the club.
Paul was never a man for complaining and he bravely fought his illness to the very end. We express our deepest sympathy with his wife Carmel, daughters Reba, Mika and Donna, the extended Madigan and Kenny families and his wide circle of friends. We will always remember you, Paul.
Reposing at his home this Saturday from 3pm to 7pm. Removal on Sunday morning from his home for 11am mass in St. John the Baptist Church, Croagh with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
