This upcoming Sunday 11th of May, the Diocese of Limerick will celebrate the ordination to the priesthood of Tim Collins, presided over by Bishop Brendan Leahy. The first of its kind in over 16 years in the Diocese , the mass will take place in St John’s Cathedral, Limerick at 3pm.
Tim will then celebrate his first mass the following day, Monday 12th May, in St John the Baptist church in Croagh at 7pm.
An open invitation is extended on behalf of the Croagh Kilfinny parish to all local parishioners to attend the first mass and receive the first priestly blessing.
Light refreshments will be provided after the mass in Croagh Community Centre for all attending.
As a past player and club member, it would be great to support Tim in this final step to becoming a priest of the Limerick Diocese, and celebrate the day with his family and community.
