Hard to believe it's 30 years!.

This year we won the clubs first ever County Intermediate Hurling title but way back in 1994 (and prior) hurling teams in Croagh/Kilfinny were also breaking records.
On 25th September 1994 at 2pm in Newcastlewest Croagh/Kilfinny Junior A hurling team took on near neighbours Granagh/Ballingarry in the West Junior A hurling final. In what turned out to be an epic battle, we came out on top in a game that will be remembered for many incidents but most notably for the high scoring affair it was!, final score was Croagh/Kilfinny 0-05 Granagh/Ballingarry 0-04.

Scorers on the day were: Conor Madigan 0-2 (frees), John Roche 0-1, Kevin Lenihan 0-1, Paudie O'Connor (RIP) 0-1
