Croagh/Kilfinny Rathkeale hurlers competed in the U15 Feile Iomaint competition on the Easter Bank Holiday weekend. Due to the weather and conditions of pitches it was decided to play Division 3 on 2 separate days.

They played 2 games in Feenagh on Saturday March 30th against Templeglantine and St. Kieran's and were unlucky to loose out to Templeglantine in their first game conceding a few late goals, Templeglantine 4-3, Croagh/Kilfinny Rathkeale 0-5.

In the 2nd game they came up against a very strong and even St. Kieran's team and were well beaten on a score line of St. Kieran's 1-9, Croagh/Kilfinny Rathkeale 0-1.

On Sunday morning March 31st they had two more games against Belville Gaels and Monagea, this time in St. Kieran's GAA grounds in Coolcappagh.

The boys showed great determination and pulled off two great wins and ended the group in 2nd place but unfortunately only the top team go through to the semi finals.

  • Croagh/Kilfinny Rathkeale 3-3, Belville Gaels 0-8
