The club would like to congratulate our Life President Jamsie Lenihan on celebrating his 80th birthday recently.

Jamsie is a legend within the club and is well know in GAA circles throughout County Limerick and beyond. A staunch Croagh/Kilfinny gael that never misses a match and can still be seen taking photos at games and events locally.

Jamsie has held various roles within the club over the years and spent a long term as Secretary, during the time we purchased our GAA grounds. He was also a main player in the setup of our Bord na nOg club in the late eighties and this has been a massive foundation for the club in keeping our young players interested and involved and helping guide them through the underage grades to the adult level in the club.

Jamsie in the past has held numerous roles within the club such as Player, Chairman, Secretary, PRO, Referee, Coach, Selector, Grounds Maintenance plus many more. He still plays a part in the club today and is currently Life President, Trustree and Draw Promoter.

The club made a recent presentation to Jamsie and we wish him continued health and happiness for many years to come.
